The filming has begun in Cape Town.
Today is a historic day for Tomb Raider fans. Fourteen years after the launch of the second film of the franchise, today has begun to shooting the third, starring Alicia Vikander and whose plot will be based on the reborn of the saga, so is not related with the first films on the big screen, with Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft.
Roar Uthaug, film’s director, has shared in his Instagram profile the image above, where the clapper appears giving place to the shooting of the first scene.
Being produced in Cape Town, South Africa, and in the absence of knowing the full cast, the new film is scheduled for release in March, 2018.
